Ever wondered where that girl inside you has gone? Remember her – she had energy and motivation and time to spare? She was curious and feisty and always up for learning and adventure.
It might be a while since she’s been around but I promise she’s not gone, she’s just buried under laundry, Team meetings and the responsibility of getting your loved ones through life!
These last number of years have been tough on everyone but it seems that women have borne an extra load – often managing to keep the show on the road, while feeling tired, overwhelmed or scared themselves. And of course, you were happy to do it but it’s taken its toll.
Are you exhausted?
Many women I’m seeing in the clinic these days are exhausted, both physically and emotionally. Sleep is often disturbed and they drag themselves through the day, looking forward to when they can numb out with Netflix and wine that night.
And many feel lost. And not curious, or motivated, or up for adventure. And they hope this can’t be it – but they don’t know what to do next.
It’s time to find your MOJO* - Not that mojo, your MOJO*
M – Motivation
O – Optimism
J – Joy in life
O – the Original YOU, who’s gotten a little lost along the way
I’ve lost my MOJO* in the past and it wasn’t pretty. I was too young to feel that old. But more importantly for me, the stuff that really mattered wasn’t getting time, space or energy in my everyday life.
I was so busy that I was simply going through the motions and keeping the show on the road but slowly fading away inside.
I’ve seen what works
And it’s pretty simple really. And it takes some time and personal responsibility but you take both of these seriously when you show up for others. Don’t you think it’s time to be there for yourself too.
- To get your motivation back so you can tackle your personal goals with gusto.
- To feel optimism and joy inside because what really matters is getting your attention.
- To make time for the Original You inside, patiently waiting for you to remember that You matter too.
